Green Shake Recipes
We recommend buying in bulk and using fresh ingredients for a day or two after purchasing. Then you can freeze all produce you are not going to use right away. A simple, time-saving tip is to make up several zip lock bags with individual shake ingredients, then freeze for easy pre-made shake mixes! They will stay fresh for up to 6 months in the freezer. Use organic ingredients if possible, especially organic greens. Remember to add fats and proteins like: avocado, nuts or nut butters, or chia, hemp and flax seeds to make it a complete meal.
- 5-6 cups Spinach
- 1 pear
- 1 apple
- 2 Tbsp coconut cream
- 1-2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 cup mixed berries Optional: 1⁄2 lemon peeled
- 5-6 cups mixed baby greens: kale, spinach, chard
- 1 pear
