We get it...You’re busy - your job, being a chauffeur to your kids, social time with friends….the list goes on forever. And being healthy? At times if feels as if there is no time left in the day for it. We’re all busy professionals who have jobs, kids, and social lives. That’s why we’ve designed this detox to be as simple as possible to jump start your health.
Why do we need to detox?
Day after day we are bombarded with toxins found in our air, water, food, beauty products, household cleaners, teflon plans, plastics...you name it. When our system is at high functioning capacity, it can deal with these toxins. However, over time when constantly overloaded with toxins, our body’s detox pathways start to get “clogged” and “overloaded” so they don’t function properly. When this happens our bodies become unbalanced because we are taking in more toxins than our bodies can process and we have a toxic overload. This then opens the path for illness and disease. Detoxing periodically can help our bodies process the extra toxins and get us closer to equilibrium.
What to Expect
In this detox, we take a two sided approach. We don't just focus on nutrition, but on your mind as well. We've found that clients who only focus on the nutrition aspect and not the MindBody aspect, don't see the results that people who work on their Mind & Body as one. You will have daily meal plans sent to your inbox as well as action items to work on your Mindset.
Why our detox?
You may have seen other detoxes that are solely comprised of juice and nothing else, that are complicated to follow and/or have bland boring food. You may have even tried them. We sure have, and it left us feeling tired, hungry and unsatisfied.That’s why we created this food focused detox. This detox eliminates many triggers of inflammation while adding and replacing lots of nutrients through vegetables and fruits. We also have included healthy oils, seeds and nuts to keep protein and fat in the diet because it’s important for detoxing. We've also included action items that focus on sleep, gratitude, and breathing to retrain your mind! We want our mind to be our ally, not our enemy!
